When Linda Farrow, now renowned sunglass designer, asked her optician husband to help create a range of sunglasses, the resulting label, which was responsible for Yoko Ono's trademark shades, became a 1970s sensation. Seven years ago, Farrow's son Simon Jablon revived the brand after discovering a back catalogue of over 2,000 vintage styles in the family's England warehouse. Collaborations with Luella, Sophia Kokosalaki and Dries Van Noten followed; as well as a host of stylish fans including Kate Moss, Nicole Richie and Sienna Miller.
Linda Farrow's current collaborations include The Row, Alexander Wang, Matthew Williamson. The latest news is that the brand may team up with Lady Gaga to create unique shades.
Here are some of my favorite designs Linda Farrow has created in conjunction with famous designers.
