It seems like China's popularity is growing by the minute. China is quickly becoming the largest consumer of luxury products in the world. Even Chanel has Shanghai on the brain for 2010. Chanel opened a Shanghai boutique, debuted a Paris-Shanghai Collection and now revealed the newest Chanel Shanghai Accessories Collection. The Collection coincides with the World's Fair Expo in Shanghai in May.
The Collection is inspired by the delights of China, such as the iconic take out box, red and jade coloring, and China dolls. Coco Chanel was infatuated with Shanghai, so the new accessories collection could possibly be a tribute to Coco herself. 

The limited-edition collection, which includes bracelets, necklaces, handbags and earrings, will debut at Chanel’s five mainland boutiques this May.
