I am off to the Coachella Music Festival today for three days filled with sun, music, and fashion. The group of friends I am going with decided to be smart this year, and ditch our cars: we got a couple drivers to take us wherever our hearts desire. Because there are so many things to do and see in Palm Springs besides the festival, a driver is the perfect solution. 
I am looking forward to hearing the artists playing at Coachella. I am in most anticipation for Jay-Z, Imogen Heap, La Roux, Passion Pit, and Gorillaz... to name a few!
A few bands, though, may be a now show at the show. It could be thought of as normal for band members to show up looking rocker chic, covered in cigarette ash... but volcanic ash? That would be a first! The volcanic explosion that took place in Iceland, scarily named Eyjafjallajokull, consequently cancelled all flights coming out of London to the United States. The ash in the sky can not only affect visibility, but can clog the plane's engines. It is still TBD if British bands Frightened Rabbit, Cribs, and Los Campesinos will still be able to perform.
