Cruising the Greek Isles and Turkey
Some 2,500 years ago, the warm waters between Greece and what is now Turkey were filled with the warring fleets of Persia's King Xerxes and his Greek foes. These days, the ships sailing through the Aegean are of a much more peaceful variety-none more majestic than the Gulet I've been on for the past week. The Gulet, known for its broad-beam, powerful diesel engines, spacious cabins, and deck space. Traveling around the Turkish Coast and Greek Isles is an unimaginable experience unless witnessed firsthand. The warm turquoise waters, serene surroundings, and calmness of the sea all contribute to an unforgettable vacation.
