Bombardier is to launch two variants of the world’s most expensive business jet, the Global 7000 and 8000.Priced around $65 million, the aircraft offer a startling high cruise speed of Mach 0.90 and excellent fuel efficiency. The 7000 will have a range of 13,520 km at Mach 0.85 while the 8000’s will cover 14,631 km at the same pace, allowing it to fly non-stop from Hong Kong to New York.Both will borrow elements from the existing Global Express XRS and 5000, and in terms of pricing, will sail past the most expensive business jet currently on the market, the $58.5 million Gulfstream G650.To be released in 2016/2017, the 7000 will have the largest cabin in business aviation while the 8000 will have the longest range.www.bombardier.com
