Honoring Beverly Hills, where couture fashion, fine cuisine and some of the most luxurious hotels in the world converge, Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau launched a new series, ‘Cuisine & Couture’ which I had the honor of hosting. In true Beverly Hills style, the initiative will celebrate some of fashion’s greatest events with the best the city has to offer. The series launched in May with an homage to The Met Gala and the 2023 theme – Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.

Together with Love Beverly Hills, The L’Ermitage Hotel, and Michelin-starred Chef Nick Muncy, I helped create a new dish for the L’Restaurant menu inspired by Karl Lagerfeld. The dish, available on the menu through May, is called Whipped Coconut, featuring coconut whipped into a marshmallow ring – resembling Karl Lagerfeld’s tall white shirt collar – with coconut tapioca pudding at the center, seasoned with citrus zest and layered with blackberries and mint. 

I had the honor of working with celebrity stylist Petra Flannery, who pulled archived and vintage Chanel pieces that were once designed by Karl Lagerfeld, to wear while we created a short video for the new Cuisine & Couture’ series.
