Forbes released a list of America's most expensive cities to live in. The article, although not surprising, sheds some light on the current economic climate. New Yorkers, living in the most expensive city in the country, are too cutting costs. Café des Artistes, one of New York's most legendary restaurants, closed in August, in part because of poor business. JC Penny opened it's first Manhattan store in the heart of the city, citing local demand for discounted merchandise.
